*What is the #androidapp you can’t live without?*
I can’t live without Seekdroid. The ability to track, lock, alarm, and wipe my phone via website or SMS is invaluable. I’d love to know what your top app is. Let’s see if we can get 20 great apps listed each by a different user.
Interesting Gaming Fact: There is currently a bug on the PC version of Mass Effect where even on Ultra-High detail, Garrus’ face is remarkably low textured. This is known by the developers of the game, who have said that a patch is not currently in the works and most likely never will be, since due to the way the game is made, it would require a multi-gigabyte patch to fix.
Summary of the article:The international version of the S III uses Samsung’s homemade, quad-core Exynos processor. The U.S. version will instead use the Snapdragon S4 processor from Qualcomm. It has two cores clocked at 1.5-GHz each and 2 GB of RAM. The dual-core processor offers the same competitive speeds and performance as leading quad-core processors without sacrificing valuable battery life.
If you’re worried about performance with the S4, don’t be. In my experience, the S4 processor outperforms the Tegra 3 in both computing prowess and battery life. It’s a superior chip and potential Galaxy S III customers should not get hung up on the U.S. version’s lack of quad-core computing.
My thoughts on the new Nintendo system based on the Wii.
I’m not holding my breath for their new system. I was excited about the Wii and waited 8 hours for it on launch day.
Looking back now it’s only strong suit was first party titles. After so many years it’s gathered loads of dust, I’ve been thinking of packing it in the closet with my rock band instruments.
Twilight Princess is the only game I can recall playing to completion out of the my Wii collections. I own all my consoles from NES - current gen, so virtual console is lost on me, I can hook up my old systems if I wan to play those. Also no strong third party titles and, sometimes in my opinion the wii remote control was frustrating and not preferred (super mario galaxy) to a standard controller.
It looks like Nintendo is going the direction of a non-standard controller again and offering the standard controller as extra, and using another gimmick to attract attention.
On my 360 I’ve completed more games than I can think of, and PS3 at least a handful (MGS4, Infamous, Little Big Planet). That said I will definitely be holding off on purchasing the next Nintendo System.
What are your thoughts?
#Gamers and #technology circles I come to you with a request! Anyone know a work-around to get Diablo III working on a mac running Leopard or get around minimum processor limit? It wants at least pentim d 2.8 or amd athlon 64 x2 4400+ before it will install (which I think is BS). Another alternative would be to upgrade my processor.
It’s payday today. Tempted to buy Diablo III. Should really finish ME3 on insane first. A friend said they’d chip in $5 towards it for me that’s motivation! If anyone else wants to chip in I’ll definitely buy it sooner!
This article really opened my eyes to internet censorship in China. I highly recommend watching the video in the article. Direct link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=u2GHyVPoVms
