My thoughts on the new Nintendo system based on the Wii. 

I’m not holding my breath for their new system.  I was excited about the Wii and waited 8 hours for it on launch day.  
Looking back now it’s only strong suit was first party titles.  After so many years it’s gathered loads of dust, I’ve been thinking of packing it in the closet with my rock band instruments.  
Twilight Princess is the only game I can recall playing to completion out of the my Wii collections.  I own all my consoles from NES - current gen, so virtual console is lost on me, I can hook up my old systems if I wan to play those.  Also no strong third party titles and, sometimes in my opinion the wii remote control was frustrating and not preferred (super mario galaxy) to a standard controller.  
It looks like Nintendo is going the direction of a non-standard controller again and offering the standard controller as extra, and using another gimmick to attract attention.
On my 360 I’ve completed more games than I can think of, and PS3 at least a handful (MGS4, Infamous, Little Big Planet). That said I will definitely be holding off on purchasing the next Nintendo System.
